JOEY BABYLON is a cinematic pop artist, songwriter, producer, crooner, and cultural dreamer whose life reads less like a traditional music biography and more like a wandering American odyssey. Raised in the forests and rural landscapes of Washington State, Joey grew up surrounded by music long before he understood its power. His father played guitar and sang from a young age, his sister became his first musical companion, and by childhood Joey was already immersed in choir, hymns, folk songs, piano lessons, and songwriting.

Music was not simply a hobby it became survival, prophecy, rebellion, and sanctuary all at once.

After the death of his mother at age fourteen, music transformed from passion into lifeline. While navigating instability, grief, and dramatic personal change, Joey buried himself in songwriting and performance, developing an emotional intensity that would later define his work. He persevered through ridicule, isolation, and resistance from those around him, often standing alone as the only boy in choir while classmates mocked him for choosing art over conformity. Yet even then, something inside him refused to bend. In a crowded, chaotic bedroom in Eastern Washington, his father once tearfully told him never to give up on his dreams — a moment Joey describes as permanently altering the trajectory of his life.

He drifted between cities and identities — Seattle, Portland, Los Angeles, Anchorage, Mexico City, and small mountain towns — recording songs obsessively, performing in intimate spaces, modeling, directing visuals, editing videos, building worlds around his music, and turning heartbreak, beauty, and chaos into cinematic pop records. His work merges baroque romanticism, crooner elegance, classical piano, electronic production, folk storytelling, dance music, and emotionally devastating balladry into something that feels nostalgic, futuristic, and ultimately timeless.

Through all of it, he continued recording relentlessly, slowly constructing an expansive body of work rooted in vulnerability, longing, beauty, glamour, and transcendence.
